Manny Escamilla Remembered After Passing At Age 44 Following Hospital Admission On June 19, 2026
Manny Escamilla, also known as Freddy, passed away at about 4:30 a.m. on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026, after being admitted to the hospital on Friday, June 19.
Manny was 44 years old, and family members said treatments did not bring the recovery they had hoped for after health concerns worsened around 8 p.m.
Terry Gomez organized a June 21, 2026 fundraiser titled “In Loving Memory of Manny Escamilla” to help cover burial expenses and support the family during this sudden loss.
The fundraiser reported $2,432 raised toward a $3,000 goal through 15 donations.
Manny leaves behind a mother, two sons, Damien and David, and many nieces and nephews who remember a close and meaningful family bond.
Terry Gomez shared that Manny had lived with the family since Ruby Griselda and Jesus, known as Tury, passed away in 2023.
The family said memorial and funeral service details will be announced later.
